What's NEW in 2013

Well it's been a while....

So you may ask what have those Warren's been up too?? (prolly not)

BUT

Since you are already reading you might as well find out:)

Since Christmas we have been very busy people.  Natalie is still going to school every Tuesday and Thursday(thank goodness) and she learns new things all the time before to long she is going to be smarter then me:) I'm not sure what we are going to do next week, we have to be together all week EEEKKKK. Maybe some nice friends of ours will want to hang out (wink wink)  JK I love spending time with her, but I love my mommy time too. ;P

Besides that we have been very busy being involved in our new Church Hillside Christian Church Lubbock campus (obviously It's in LBK like I would drive to Amarillo every week hahaha) ok so back to it.... We love our campus if you live here in Lubbock and haven't given it a try you are missing out.  We have some of the best of friends here and we serve every Sunday for the Lord by helping in ways we love.  I am also a small group leader for our 6th grade girls on Wednesday Nights, I love it and them they have taught me so much and It truly is amazing!!!! I also help out on Thursday mornings getting things ready for Sunday.  I am so blessed to have found my way back to the Lord and to share this with my family.

After Christmas we went to De Queen, AR to celebrate mine and Brielle's Birthday.  It is beyond words how awesome it was.  Felt like a kid again..... It was also the first time Natalie and Brielle got along and played together. Melts my heart that they are becoming such good friends:)

santa baby...

So first thing this morning I was getting Natalie dressed for school and she was beside her self that she did not want to wear the dress I picked out for her.

But in her words she called it a "costume" and she did not want to look like Santa.  Whats wrong with  looking like Santa???

Well any ways so she runs off to my room were Randy is still in bed and she is crying very loudly mind you.  So she wakes Randy up and he has no idea whats wrong and still a little foggy from just waking up but he tries his best to calm her down, but she was just not having it.  I explained the situation and he tried to tell her how pretty she was which just made it worse....

Well the mean mom that I am made her wear the cute little dress to school.

So when we got to school Ms. Brandi and Ms. Kelsey were telling her how cute she looked, but Natalie just started to cry.  I told them that we weren't talking about it... They just laughed and said OH OK..lol..

They said she did good the rest of the day but as soon as we got home I was going to put her down for a nap and I asked if she wanted to take the dress off???

I have never seen her try to get something off soo fast..

Needless to say NOT a happy camper :(

ON ANOTHER SANTA NOTE.....

Randy decided to surprise us and get home early so we could go see Santa at the mall and have Miss Cake's Picture made.

So we get to the mall around 4:30 and when we get over to the Santa area they have already closed it off because Santa was going to take his break from 5-6..  JUST MY LUCK!

Having been through this before I knew not to leave or I would be at the verrrryyyyy end of the line and That wasn't happening for me.

So we stayed put.....

as we were waiting I couldn't help but ease drop on the group of people in front of us.  (not like I had anything else to do for an hour and a half) SO any ways it was a mom and her 2 sons a daughter and her boyfriend.  The daughter just kept complaining about how she was tired and didn't want to wait.

Well me and my big mouth informs her that Santa wasn't going to be back for an hour.  She was so not happy and neither was the mom for me telling her that.  (i guess they were trying to keep it a secret) oops not like it wasn't on the sign if you can read....

So they begin to discuss what they were gonna do and I just had to open my mouth again (you would think I would have learned the first time) so I go on to tell them that my husband said there was a Santa at Home Depot since we were close they could go over there...This time I got a very dirty look from mom... sad thing is I was just trying to be helpful.  It was either that or tell her kid to shut up and quit being an ungrateful brat...but I chose to be nice.

Well they decided to take their picture by the HUGE tree in the middle of the mall (i now you were dying to know that) but good for us because that meant we got to move up in line.. :) sneaky sneaky..lol

oh ya and her kids were like 14-18 years old!!  so glad my mom never made me do that!!!

To the the end of the Story we waited the whole time 3rd in line, got to see Santa, and Natalie did AWESOME!!!  (Waiting and sitting in Santa's lap.)

I was one proud mommy.  We even got a smile this year:)

Merry Christmas and HO HO HO

a trip to united

It was any other ordinary day for the Warren's.  We had decided to go eat dinner at United and after words we needed to get some things to make Green Chile Stew.  This is were the fun began.....

We let Natalie get a shopping cart her size for the first time since we didn't need much.

She was sooooo excited!!!

But......

She is as slow as a 100 year old person!!!

on the plus note everyone thought she was so cute, I mean she was all dressed up from seeing Santa:)

So we stroed along getting our things when we came across the wine Isle.....

(Mommy needed some win!!!!)

So I put it in her basket and kept going when Randy looked down and said "That's just not right"
(Well then of course we needed to take a picture of our bad parenting skills and send it to the world...lol)

Then we got up to the register and the boy asked Natalie if the wine was for her and with a very plane look on her face she just said yes...

And of course we would have to get the young guy who then tells my child that this was the best present to get from Santa and so on...

Thanks guy way to top it off...

Well it's never a dull moment around here.

Time to enjoy some wine:;)

a look at december

So before December rolled around we already had our lights up, the tree decorated, and the stockings hung.  Natalie enjoyed putting the ornaments up and saying HO HO HO.

As the month began I started my crafting business here in Lubbock at KK's Craft Mall.  I'm very excited to finally get this started.  As most of you know I love to be creative when I can.  So if your here in Lubbock please go check it out they have so much stuff that is amazing and as my husband says I'm gonna be in debit before I make a profit. lol

Our next adventure for the month was enjoying company with my old friend Chels and her two adorable kids.  Cam and Natalie became best of friends during this time we got to take them to the science spectrum which they both loved. They have now gone home to Fort Worth, but we hope to see them again soon. :)

The next surprise of the month was getting to have my good friend Tiffany and her girls come to visit with us.  Her littlest one Riley let me feed and rock her to sleep which melted my heart. (or gave me baby fever) either way I loved getting the time to catch up and spend time together.

So as a big sister you get to enjoy your younger brother grow up to be a great young man and I've loved every minute of it.  This year though I think he has topped it off.  Not only did he get elected Freshman STUCO class President he was also elected class favorite.  It warms my heart to have such a great brother.

Randy and I also got to enjoy a date night dinner a week ago thanks to Natalie's PDO they watched the kids for nothing but a little donation.  Her new school has really been good to us.

So back to our activities for December...

Destiny and her boys came for the weekend last weekend.  They had so much fun getting to feed the baby horses and our weekend trip to Sam's. lol but having all three kids together really made me think about having another one....

Maybe sometime in our future.

Thanks to Destiny we got to see Santa and he gave Miss cakes a special gift.  Jake and the Never land Pirate books.  She loved them:)

Once my house was cleared out on Sunday Haley and I had a few hours of craft time which was much needed.  I decided to make a Christmas wreath and Haley made a tree skirt.  It was really nice to sit around and just visit and do something that we love to do.

So after that long weekend we got to spend the rest of the week with a sick little Natalie which was not fun but at least she was a good sport about it.  (well most of the time)

So as week get ready to head to Amarillo this next weekend to spend the Holidays with our families.  All I have left to do is keep the house picked up and get it ready to leave, then we are off to spread Christmas cheer.

So on that note Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

I will be glad to feel you all in on all our Holiday Happenings after we get back.
